About Muhurta

Muhurta is a productivity tool that applies Vedic astrological timing principles to daily planning. By using Muhurta, you agree to these Terms of Service.

The app provides timing guidance based on Vedic astrology (Jyotish). This content is informational only and does not constitute medical, financial, psychological, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional for decisions in those domains.

User Accounts

Accounts are created using your email address via magic link authentication. You are responsible for:

• Account security — keeping your email account secure and notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access
• Accurate information — providing a valid email address and accurate birth data for personalized calculations
• One account per person — creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions is not permitted

Acceptable Use

Muhurta is licensed for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the app or its APIs
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the service
• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense access to Muhurta or its content
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

Subscription

Muhurta offers a freemium model with the following paid plans:

• Monthly — $9.99 per month, billed monthly
• Annual — $69.99 per year ($5.83/month), billed annually

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. Fees paid for the current billing period are non-refundable. Unused portions of a billing period are not refunded.

Beta Access

During the beta period, registered users receive free access to all premium features. Beta access may be modified or ended at any time. After the beta period, continued access to premium features requires a paid subscription.

Beta features may be incomplete, subject to change, or removed without notice. We appreciate your feedback during this period.

Disclaimer

Muhurta is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Astrological timing information is based on traditional Vedic frameworks and is provided for informational and planning purposes only.

We do not guarantee specific outcomes, and astrological guidance should not be used as the sole basis for significant personal, financial, health, or legal decisions. Muhurta is not a substitute for professional advice.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or use the service in a manner that harms other users or the platform. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking action, except in cases of severe or repeated violations.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from your use of Muhurta will be resolved under the laws applicable to the jurisdiction where the dispute arises.
